To all picture lovers, I just found a gem of a site (or maybe everyone knows about this but me...which seems to happen a lot). It's called the photographic dictionary: dedicated to defining words through the literal, figurative, and personal meanings found in each photograph. I'm so drawn to the simplicity of this concept. I especially love the ones that are more abstract, less obvious...it makes you think differently about ordinary things. Photo submissions for new words are open right now. I'd love to send in some of my own work, but most of my recent shots would be filed under cute, adorable, sweet, baby. Probably not what they're looking for.
